T x 2

Some tea and a t-shirt from Topshop. I'm putting these unrelated things in a post together so I can attempt to be witty in the title.

This stack of tea from T2 is a very belated birthday present (my birthday was in April). I never buy fancy tea so this is something new. The three that make up the stack are English Breakfast, Sencha green tea and Lemongrass & Ginger. The first two are nice, but the last is a bit odd tasting (not my cup of tea, ha ha).

London map tee by Tee and Cake from Topshop. I love maps, and I loved London, so I chimed into a joint Topshop order to get a map of London on a t-shirt. It looks a bit weird on the hanger, but it fits well. Excited for the weather to warm up so I can wear this.

So that's my first week back to uni done. It hasn't been particularly taxing, but I've got a sleep debt to repay - the ASOIAF (Game of Thrones) books are ruining my life. I've gone through three and I'm going to take a break, because otherwise I'll just never get anything done.

  1. That Lemongrass and Ginger tea does sound pretty interesting. I cannot see the two going together. I love my tea with milk, milk tea is soooo good. I hope you enjoy your cup of tea! Oh and I love that top!

  2. That t-shirt is absolutely adorable.
Personally I think tea should be involved in every blog post, you can never have to much tea!

  3. The shirt is so cute! Let me know when you get to the fourth GoT book - I've been stuck on it just knowing that there are so many more

  4. Found your blog through a search -- I lovelovelove that Topshop London map shirt! I've had my eye on it for a while, but the lack of reviews hasn't been very helpful... if you don't mind my asking out of the blue, did you find it to be especially oversized? & would you say there any stretch to the cloth to speak of? :)

    (many thanks!)

Also, I am very much enjoying your first batch of photos -- now I find myself wanting fancy tea.

    1. No problem! I was apprehensive about the lack of reviews too. I got my usual size and it's a tiny bit oversized/of a looser fit (e.g. I have wide shoulders, but they've still got some extra room in this shirt). There's not that much stretch - I wouldn't want to stretch it because the material's quite thin. Hope that helped!

    2. It does help a ton, thank you so much! Now I'm considering perhaps sizing up a bit and wearing it with a belt like a loose tunic -- I have a feeling I would get super paranoid about the possibility of the material tearing. Such a pretty top though. I'm sure I'll figure it out!

  5. That's an awesome top- love the cut and the map :)
Also, that's very cute packaging for the tea, good choices too. Ginger is always a pretty "strong" flavour, and lemongrass too- they're very good for you too :)

  10. I'm not much of a fan of flavoured teas, I seem to only enjoy my general standard cup of tea with milk, or green tea of course! I may venture out and try some though...

That is a smashing t-shirt, if I owned that I would be looking at it for hours, tracing all the lines!

  12. So much love for this post! I'm a big fan of green tea, and trying different sorts of Herbal Tea. I've always had a soft spot for Green Tea and Lotus Flower myself. And the London tee is awesome, I absolutely love London related stuff myself.

Also, thanks for your comment on my colour bug review. I'm glad you had the same thing! Maybe do a post next time you decide to use it! I'd love to see the results!

  22. I'm trying to get into tea and out of my coffee addiction. I think chamomile is my favourite. I love that t-shirt, but I like maps in all forms.

I saw you at The Dip the other day. I recognised you straight away from your Fjallraven backpack, but I got scared and hid behind my friends because I didn't know if you would recognise me and I've never seen someone from the internet in real life before and I RECOMMENDED THAT PLACE TO YOU! It was such a freaky coincidence.

I saw a blogger I knew the other day, and I panicked and ran away. So I get where you're coming from aha.
